Something from my first entry

I took these photo earlier on the year, my first few drawings in my journal. The year is almost at an end. 2009 is definitely far from boring. Traveled a fair bit from Brisbane, Australia... went through Melbourne, Tokyo, NYC and Toronto. Ended and begun a few jobs. Begun and ended many paintings and creations. Appreciated many realizations.... 2009 -definitely far from boring.

I can't wait to take home my purchase of a kozyndan original! I think this series are really sweet and quirky. And of course I love graphite work. I think this weekend I will pick it up ... I'll take a piccie for you then!
p.s : It's starting to snow here in Toronto! It's just a month and a half late... but wahoo tobogganing for Christmas!

Chester Bird

I'm really happy with this outcome. I had a great time working on another 3D object and on pine wood. The concept was experimental and my love for birds, patterns and movements. I haven't screwed in the original knobs so you can see the artwork better, I'm also thinking of replacing the wooden original knobs to something maybe abit more ornate, or a crystal set. Anthropologie has a beautiful collection instore check some out here... of course I'll choose something that would compliment the whole set... so stay tuned.
