Sunday drawing

Halfway through drawing up my gorgeous cousin's birthday invite.
So funny how it takes me ages to get things cranking. Even though this drawing has taken me just over an hour to finish this much, it has taken me a week to actually pick the pencil up and start. Is this normal? I do wonder how I can overcome this, I don't particularly like how much time I waste not drawing because I enjoy it once I get into that creative zone. But to get into the zone, i find i'm challenged by the biggest hump I have to jump over... There's gotta be an easier way! Surely?! If you have tricks up your sleeves I would love to hear it and would love you forever. Xx C.

back from a blog slumber

So it's been a while... like over a year. yikes! I don't really want to get into excuses, it's not really what I'm about, and I am sure who ever reads this does not mind I take a break, a long one.
I may possibly recap what 2011 was all about, but did I even finish telling you about 2010? I don't think I did. I have missed keeping this blog up to date, so I'll do better this year at it.

Love and loathing in LA

Yes this blog needs a lot of lurvin this year to make up for last year. But 2011 was a blast! It happened too quickly and am thankful for such an amazing year full of fun, travels, friendship and kitties. This year is already happening so fast too! I can't believe it's almost the end of the 2nd month. Seriously?!
